The Sammamish Totem Grid Iron
Booster Club is a non–profit organization dedicated to the promotion and
support of the SHS Football Program and its activities. Membership
is open to all parents and family members of SHS football players as well
as interested members of our school community.
Our mission is to:

Support athletic and academic excellence in all student athletes
·
Promote active and involved parent and community leadership
·
Promote sportsmanship and provide supplementary financial support to our
football program
·
Maintain the history and tradition of excellence, which exemplifies our
student athletes, coaches and teams.
Some of our activities include:

Spring Kickoff Informational
·
Fundraisers to support the football budget
·
Coordinate parent volunteers
·
Plan Senior Recognition Night
·
Plan Year-End Awards Banquet
·
Provide scholarships to players who qualify for financial need
·
Create the Football Media Guide Program (to be sold at games)
·
Promote school spirit in our school community
To support the football program financially, we
have the following fundraisers planned for this year:

Totem Football Spring Luau and Auction
·
Car Washes
·
“Totem Rush” Coffee Sale
·
Discount Card Sale (our biggest fundraiser held in the fall)
·
Football Media Guide Program advertising to local businesses and personal
players ads from families of players
·
Business Banner Sposorship sales to local businesses
·
Run fall concessions
We also ask each player pay a yearly football fee.
This amount is determined each spring based on the Grid Iron
budget, and cost of equipment not covered under the SHS ASB budget, etc.
Therefore, the more we fundraise the lower the fees.
We are looking for all parents to join in the
support of our 2011 Sammamish Totem Football Team!
Grid Iron holds monthly Board Meetings on
the first Thursday of each month. Please feel free to join us.
